Residential Extended Care

Extended Care is the next vital step on the journey of recovery.  At Sure Haven we work with each young woman to identify her specific needs; and, with her input, design a unique and comprehensive treatment program that meets those needs.   Our compassionate, dedicated treatment team works tirelessly and collaboratively with each client through all stages of  her recovery.

We believe it is essential to look at the complete person and thoroughly addresses any and all mental health issues, eating disorders, physical or sexual trauma, contributing family issues, sex and love addition or any other addictive disorders.  We work with the most respected professionals, our independent care partners, and carefully select the most appropriate fit for each client based on her assessment.  Read more…

Academic and Vocational Programs

The staff at Sure Haven play a vanguard role in helping young women find their self-worth. The women that come to Sure Haven may be unemployed or have abandoned their educational goals, causing them to feel dismal and low on self esteem. Often they can’t envision a future.

Women exit our recovery programs feeling intrepid and self-actualized, fully equipped to seize life’s opportunities. Each client works collaboratively with case management staff to determine the right course of action, placing them into either the Sure Haven Academic Program or Sure Haven Vocational Services, where each step is carefully and diligently attended to.

Intensive Outpatient

In our Intensive Outpatient Program, we reinforce the psychiatric and physical healing being achieved with enhanced treatment modalities such as: meditation, yoga, nutritional counseling, physical conditioning, and interpersonal growth work. Young women have the opportunity to deepen their recovery from drug and alcohol addiction through continued individual and group therapy, while residing with other sober women in one of our sober living homes.

We realize that the hard part of sobriety is only just beginning, and we will work with you as you become a self advocate and start to reintegrate back into the community.  With Sure Haven’s support you will develop new, healthy coping skills, learn to recognize negative and destructive thoughts, and begin to see the strong, beautiful, happy young woman you have inside.  Read more…

Outpatient

Once a client has completed inpatient treatment, they can continue with intensive therapies on an outpatient basis. This is an opportunity to employ their newfound life skills and coping techniques at our Sober Living facility, while receiving additional treatment and coaching during the day at Sure Haven.

We provide a holistic approach to treatment in order to assist clients that are dealing with co-occurring disorders and a balanced approach to recovery that includes 12-Step programs. Sober Living

Many clients benefit from our Sober Living Program where they receive continued support after completing their initial treatment. Clients are able to go to school, work, attend 12-step meetings, continue counseling, and practice useful life skills that facilitate their successful transition back to society.

Our primary goal is to promote long-term recovery through the development of self-awareness and personalized knowledge of the addiction-recovery process. We stress the ability for women to change their own behavior and believe that if offered accurate information, guidance and professional support, any woman can overcome chemical dependency.  Read more…
