Sure Haven was founded on the desire to better the lives of women and is based on a deeper understanding of the women we help. In the past, however, addiction treatment has been operated on the assumption that one size fits all. One approach was to design all programs for men and women and ignore differences.

Research suggests that men and women experience drug and alcohol addiction differently. Not only do they have different biological responses and co-morbid factors, but they also have separate reasons for turning to drugs and alcohol in the first place. Given these differences, men and women often fare best in gender-specific recovery programs.

We Are Here For Your Family. We Are A Family.

Addiction is a family disease, and you and your family have been at it’s mercy. As you work on recreating your life we work with you to repair your relationships. We include families in the recovery process and remain in constant contact. This is a we program, you are not alone.

We recommend that family members attend counseling or educational sessions to help them deal with the impact of a loved one’s addiction. Chances for recovery increase dramatically when families are involved.

Because addiction has such a strong effect on the family of an addict, it is important for families to receive their own support and build their own network of people to reach out to in difficult times. Sure Haven is happy to assist our families in finding these resources and helping the family heal as a unit.

We Are Always Available – 24 Hours A Day.

Addiction is referred to as a “family disease.” However, the family is often overlooked. At Sure Haven we promise continuous communication through the treatment process. Your daughter’s Case Manager and Therapist will both call you at least once a week while she is with us. We are available 24/7 by phone or email, and welcome you to attend one of our family program weekends.

We Treat The Whole Person, Starting With A Comprehensive Assessment.

Upon arrival, each client receives a comprehensive assessment conducted by our clinical team. It includes a Complete History & Physical Assessment, Biological Assessment, Family Assessment, Medical Assessment, Dietary Assessment, Psychological Assessment, Psychiatric Assessment and Spiritual Assessment.

This allows the Sure Haven team to look at all aspects of the individual and provide our clients with the most tailored and successful treatment program – setting our women up for long-term sobriety and success.

We Provide Individualized Treatment Plans.

At Sure Haven, our clients are our family. We care about our clients and want to provide the finest level of addiction treatment, while acknowledging that no two people are alike. After the assessment is complete, the counselors work with the individual to create a personalized treatment plan specifically addressing their unique needs and circumstances.

Sure Haven’s philosophy is to utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and elements of various other proven techniques in addiction recovery. By providing a continuum of therapy, we are able to reach clients on many different levels.

We Go Beyond With Continuity Of Care.

Sure Haven offers a continuum of care through our step down process, ensuring that we release the support gradually. Your daughter has battled her addiction for years, and unfortunately recovery doesn’t happen overnight. While everyone travels at different speeds, it often is a long, slow process that usually lasts up to a year.

At Sure Haven, she can continue working with the same loving and supportive team during this period, as she gradually reintegrates into the community.

We Make Our Houses Into Homes. We Provide The Community.

Many times, an individual’s home environment plays a part in their addictions. A variety of triggers such as stress, peer pressure, unhealthy relationships and other factors may exist in their home environment. Sure Haven programs allow the individual to have a place to recover free from daily pressures and deadlines.

We hesitate to use the word house at Sure Haven. As you will see when you arrive, we turn our houses into homes away from home. We have the most beautiful homes for you to stay in while you are recovering, and we know you will feel the love and warmth immediately.

Sure Haven’s Extended Care Residential and Intensive Inpatient Programs are all-inclusive and in addition to 12-Step Meetings and Individual and Group Therapy for Alcoholism and Addiction Treatment, we include Dental Services, OB/GYN Services, Chiropractic Care, Psychiatrist Sessions, Life Coach and Life Skills Services, Nutritional Services, Career Services, Academic Services, EMDR for Trauma Treatment, and Eastern Holistic Therapies.
